Measurement

Lift Levelness

Establish a calibrated reference plane so lift or floor slope does not become part of the alignment reading.

Purpose

Establish a calibrated reference plane so lift or floor slope does not become part of the alignment reading.

How it works

What the software does.

During installation or calibration, the system records the alignment surface as a reference plane. SureAlign then relates wheel-angle measurements to that plane instead of treating an uneven floor or lift as level.

When to use

Where it fits in the workflow.

Use during commissioning, calibration and periodic bay verification, or whenever the alignment surface may have moved or changed.

Benefits

Practical value in the alignment bay.

  • Separates vehicle geometry from bay slope
  • Protects camber and caster readings from a poor reference plane
  • Provides a repeatable baseline for the alignment bay

Availability

Configuration limitation.

Requires correct installation and calibration by qualified personnel. Calibration does not correct an unstable or unsuitable lift or floor.
